This is a very well-written description of the situation at nude beaches. In a way, swimsuit enforcement is not very democratic. People are prevented to go nude in municipal places but clothed people are not prevented from going to nude beaches.

In America, a speedo is considered a "risque" swimsuit. I was once escorted out of the public swimming pool because my speedo was deemed "too transparent". Of course, the local idiots could not find a better reason, there was nothing "transparent".

People come with all kinds of preconceptions bestowed upon them by family, churches, and society. Therefore they come in a variety of behavior. The problem starts when they fall outside of the bell curve. The people inside the bell curve try to discriminate against the ones outside. And because every action elicits a reaction of equal force but in an opposing direction, battles are needlessly started.

An example is a gay movement. About 3% of the population is openly gay, but because they were discriminated against for a long time the pent-up resentment boiled out into militant behavior. But the success the 3% achieved in pushing acceptance to the majority is an unhealthy result. Can you recall anything, a movie, a TV program, or a job application, where there are not gay people represented? One would think that half of the population is gay.

99% of people do not care how we get our sexual needs satisfied. They think about their needs.

The nudity on nude beaches necessarily manifests sexually in the same way as in any place where people gather, churches, or tennis clubs. Sex is our life's driving force and because of nature, there are basic differences between males and females. Male has about 525 billion sperm cells in life and about 1 billion are used every month. Women start with only 2 million egg cells, but only about 450 ever mature and are available for reproduction during ovulation.

Evolution, therefore, compels males to spread the seeds wide and far, women are compelled to be very selective, choose males that can wield the biggest club, and bring home the largest saber-toothed tiger to feed the family with. This difference in sex drive and the fact that most males are stronger than females put females at a disadvantage that lasts in many countries to this day. Different societies deal with needed protection for females in different, sometimes outright bizarre ways, but there is no solution. We will never resolve the differences we evolved with and no matter how many laws are enacted, none can negate evolution.

As a result, female nudity acquired commercial value. While it is legal to be topless in most of the civilized world, we do not see topless women in most of the world, where it is practiced mostly by ladies past their prime. Again, evolution made us celebrate the youth.

Dr. Ruth proposed in one of her sexual lectures that everyone past 50 should start having some homosexual experiences. For a very simple reason. To be sexually satisfied is the most important element of our lives. As important as intake of food, water, and air. It is inevitable that one of the sexual partners will depart. Divorce, abandonment, death, there are a million reasons. To replace the sexual partner with a same-sex one takes 5 min on the internet. We may never ever till we die replace an opposite-sex partner.

Because of the sex drive, there are males that seek sexual relief at the beaches. Some nudists are surely also swingers and some swingers are also nudists, but we cannot generalize. I find the name Meerkats very endeavoring for those voyeurs.

Unfortunately because of the meerkats, my wife is uncomfortable going to open nude beaches. For this reason, the population-controlled nudist parks are a lot more inviting also safe in contrast to the beach

Consider my paradigm adjusted - I am now a naked person who chooses to wear clothes when I have to, not a clothed person who chooses to get naked when I want to. Love it!!
