your next to last statement says, "Of all the things in the world to be considered indecent, the naked human body should even be on the list."

I think you meant to say, "Of all the things in the world to be considered indecent, the naked human body should "NOT" even be on the list."

Is there a way to change your post?

Thank you for spotting that. I have fixed it.

"There seems to be a common misconception that simple nudity is sexual. By all means, call out inappropriate sexualised behaviour or comments as indecent.... the average person is engaged in sexual activity for 0.45% of their life."

Saying that sexual behavior is "indecent," offensive, or wrong attacks and spews hate at the "average person" who engages in normal sexual behavior for a significant part of his or her life. Sexual desire and behavior is the only thing that prevents species extinction. Average people all do it. Why on earth wold anyone be so rude and hateful to attack necessary and enjoyable activity that all normal people do?

Public displays of sexual behaviour are considered indecent by society and by the courts in numerous cases.

I agree that sexual behaviour is not indecent in itself, however, I am not in favour of overt sexual behaviour in public or in naturist settings. It is my belief that sexual activities are intimate and private between consenting adults. If people wish to behave sexually in front of others, there are groups and settings that allow for such behaviour and they are in an opt-in environment rather than in public spaces.

My main objection to the sexualisation of naturism is the confusion between non-sexual social nudity and the overtly sexualised images and behaviour that some people exhibit.

You are right that the public is well taught that sexual behavior is "indecent," and makes it illegal in public. I don't agree that they are right. My experience has been that the sexual union of male and female that creates children is always beautiful to watch. Condemning normal human behavior comes from a deep psychological self-hate.

You are also right that many nudists try hard to prohibit sexual behavior and promote nudism as asexual, as if normal human needs and desires evaporate when they remove their clothes. The asexual nudist promotion tends to drive away many people and especially drives away young people. Over on some social media (/reddit for example) there are hundreds (thousands) of younger women and men posing for and/or posting erotic images every day. The public likes to pretend that they are asexual, but porn has always been about half of all Internet traffic for women and men.

You are also right about the law. The law in most places panders to the anti-sex crowd and persecutes anyone doing any sexual behavior in public, and often even not in public. It is a shame that normal human needs, emotions, and behavior is so harshly condemned. That is psychotic. Still, we have to live with it for now. Doesn't mean we have to agree with it.

Anyone who says that another person is inherently "indecent" is a hate mongering fool and extremely offensive. They insult and attack other people for existing as human.

Judges in several US states have ruled that people are NOT inherently indecent. Laws prohibiting "indecent exposure" mean that a person must be doing something indecent. Doing normal human activity while naked is not "indecent exposure." (Seattle v. Johnson for example)
